The board has received multiple inquiries regarding commercial vehicle parking
restrictions in the covenants. One-ton (e.g F-350, Silverado 3500) pickups are explicit disallowed. In
reviewing applicable law and federal classifications, the board will adhere to the Federal Highway
Administration classifications and treat medium/heavy duty trucks (those more than 10,000lbs GVWR)
as commercial vehicles.
Commercial Vehicle Definitions
Class 1 & 2 are permissible, Classes 3-8 are not. In addition the covenants specifically disallow one-ton pickups (e.g. F-350, Silverado 3500)
