Proposed 2026 Budgets - Explained

Hello neighbors!  
There were questions about the proposed 2026 budget that was mailed out, and I want to explain them in more detail.
 
There were 2 separate budgets that should be similar, except one was based on if we were to engage a management company to take over managing operations, while the other kept our neighborhood as self managed.  
 
If we contracted with a management company, there would be many expenses, including a monthly expense for "managing" the neighborhood, as well as per "job" expense for each task we ask the company to do or for each service above running meetings, handling mail, and paying bills.
 
There were a couple issues with formatting and one miscalculated column on the total expense line.  I have corrected those.  That includes colors with no description.
 
Finally, there were questions about crossed out expenses.  We found a few items around landscape maintenance that were broken into line items that really didn't add extra value, so we combined them back into one line item.  And since we have not, nor plan to add holiday decor at this time, we just eliminated that line.
